FROM THE ANCIENT GODS OF THE MOSCOW
We are all tiny neurons in the nervous system of Moscow, constantly stirring up our synapses, creating and giving away. Without a push, even an embryo cannot move on its own, it needs evolution to take its course. And for this, the time will come.
The video work I created using pictures of the night of Moscow, Khokhloma, and custom neural networks is an exploration of the interconnectedness of our minds and our surroundings. It captures the essence of the vibrant energy of Moscow at night, with its endless streams of people, cars, and lights that seem to pulse with life and movement.
Through the use of neural networks, I aimed to highlight the complex web of connections that exists between all of us, both in the physical world and in the digital realm. Just as our synapses fire and transmit messages throughout our bodies, so too do the countless networks and systems that make up our city and our world.
With this work, I hope to inspire viewers to reflect on their own place in this vast and interconnected universe, and to consider the power and potential of our collective consciousness. We are all part of something greater than ourselves, and by embracing this truth, we can unlock new levels of creativity, innovation, and connection.
